Re:fresh India was the second health and risk and assessment survey Marine Benefits carried out under the Re:fresh umbrella. As the program was evolving, it became larger more advanced and more granular; all in accordance to the principles of MLC 2006. The primus motor of running Re:fresh in India was Captain Rajesh Tandon; where 3,712 professional, engaged, happy and dedicated crew across ranks and vessel types volunteered to take part. All in all, nine companies supported the program. The final industry report; ‘A heath and wellness study of Indian seafarers onboard international controlled ships’, was completed in October 2018.
