The Royal Norwegian Embassy (Manila) and The Philippine Norwegian Business Council (PNBC) were the goodwill ambassadors of the ever first Re:fresh 2015. Ten Norwegian ship owners and managers supplied 2,605 seafarers to be part of the various parts of the study. Re:fresh started as a project, but due to the huge demand of more detailed crew insights from the industry, Marine Benefits developed Re:fresh into an even more comprehensive algorithmic platform to enable it for trends and for a wider geographic span. For the first time, the various industry players could now compare their own human factor performances to other companies in the market. The final industry report; ‘A baseline study of Filipino seafarers on board Norwegian Controlled ships’ was written by Rebecca Mejia, Angel Fernandez, Ernesto Magdaong and Adrian Stray in 2016.
